Saturday Night's alright for painting
A couple of years ago, hell probably a year ago, I probably would have felt like a dummy for staying in on a Saturday night to paint and watch kitten YouTube videos. Times have changed and I cherish my time spent alone and well, after last night's epic NYE party I welcome this night of getting things taken care of wholeheartedly.
Picture above is my often cluttered work space, a piece for Portland's Compound Gallery group show "Blazer Mania" showcasing different artists rendition of "Blaze" the trail cat, the Portland Trail Blazer's NBA mascot. I've been a big basketball fan for a while and since Seattle no longer has a team (tears) my nearest team is the Blazers. Image of this piece to follow!
